For those of us who have to do more intense editing of transcripts, the text editing functions are quite frustrating, as they behave differently from Word or Google Docs. Most significant is when highlighting part of a word (like a misplaced capital letter), or a word but not the punctuation, Dovetail snaps to include the whole word. I've learned some of the tricks to get around this, but it would feel much more natural if text editing behaved like every other editor out there. It also seems very hit and miss whether double clicking a word will actually select the full word. This has a surprising impact on my time and general experience with the product.
