Ability to resolve comments on insights and notes

Hi! Sometimes, I ask for feedback when it comes to research plans, but even if I am the owner of the space/project, I cannot resolve the comment, which makes me frustrated since I have to ask the owner of the comment to manually delete it.

Ability to resolve a comment in Insight

I would like to have the option to resolve a comment in Insight. These resolved comments would be hidden but not deleted. Tracking what has already been addressed and what is pending is challenging. Now, I need to delete comments, but it doesn't feel right.

I would like to be able to resolve/delete any comment that is in the space that I created - so maybe this could be helpful when it comes to permissions :)

Hi! We keep research plans/scenarios, so here is the scenario:
- My manager adds some comments like Change A to B. Do you know about C?
- I make changes to the research plan and answer some of their comments
- I cannot delete those comments (like in the Google Doc, resolve button) I have to wait for them to delete their comments (which is not very intuitive for every stakeholder), and then I have to delete my comments, it is very time-consuming

Great to hear your perspective, Karolina Kowalczyk! I have a few more questions for you:
- Can you provide more details about the scenarios in which you'd like to resolve comments?
- Are there specific types of comments you'd like to be able to resolve?
- Would you find it useful to have different permissions for different types of users?

Thank you for posting, Marie Ondraskova! I have a few more questions for you:
- Can you provide more context on how often you encounter comments that you'd like to resolve and hide?
- What kind of information do these comments usually contain that you feel needs to be preserved even after resolution?
- Would you find it useful to have a feature to categorize or tag resolved comments for future reference?

- Very often, we use this feature to collaborate on documents with my colleagues and review processes with stakeholders. It is time-consuming to delete comments I haven't created as I first need to answer the comment, and then I am able to delete the thread.
- This could be handy mainly for resolving comments from stakeholders. So it is clear the comment was addressed; maybe a change was made. Right now, I have only two options: leave comments there with an answer, which makes the insight cluttered and unclean, or delete them. But this way, I lose traceability.
- I imagine this feature as it is in Word, Mural, and other tools. So, when the comment is resolved, it disappears. But when needed, there is an option to display resolved comments.
